About the store
I am passionate about teaching and have been since I began my journey at 18, working with students across a wide range of ages and grade levels. My experience includes teaching preschool, Kindergarten, and First Grade, as well as substituting for grades Pre-K through 12. I may not do fancy covers or fancy fonts but I hope you're able to find something useful in my shop. I attempt to use free commercial fonts and graphics as much as possible, and most of my products will be prices at $1 to keep the products accessible for all teachers. I find immense joy and success in tutoring and working one-on-one with students, tailoring lessons to meet their unique needs. As a substitute, I’ve seen the impact of well-crafted lesson plans—and those that could use improvement. This inspired me to help teachers create effective sub plans that set substitutes up for success, ensuring a smooth and productive day for students. I’m excited to share resources and strategies that make teaching and learning easier for everyone involved. Let’s work together to create an engaging and supportive learning environment!

Enjoy and try this product out for me while it is free. I made these pages from the desire to have unified shelf labels in my classroom. They fit the self-adhesive Lakeshore Pockets 3 5/8 x 3 5/8. I attached the photos to my baskets either with the pockets or with a binder ring. You will find a zip file in the downloads that will give you a pdf version and a word version of the file. The measurements are on the information page in case you find you need to fix the formatting in word or whatev

In this file you will find a page for Students Name and the COR area you are assessing and the time of day of the assessment. You will also find a blank assessment page without the title COR NOTES in case this format will work for another assessment tool you use and you'd like to be able to write your own title. The COR standards are at the end of the packet for reference of the scoring and what area your students are meeting at the time of the assessment. If you would like a different color s

Love using these for students to create collages and other art ideas. I have had students disguise their letters for various learning activities. We have used scratch paper to make collages, markers, and crayons to practice fine motor work by coloring the inside of the letters with outlines. With older students, we have filled the letters with words that start with the same letter to create dictionary pages. The possibilities are almost endless. I'd love to hear how you use these letters :)

Teaching style

My teaching style is dynamic and flexible, adapting to the needs of my students in real time. I’m a strong advocate for hands-on learning and active participation, creating an engaging environment where students can thrive. I believe in the power of child-directed learning and incorporate it whenever possible, encouraging students to explore their interests and take ownership of their learning. If a lesson isn’t resonating with everyone, I’m not afraid to pivot and try a new approach, ensuring all students stay engaged and feel successful. My goal is to create a classroom where learning is both meaningful and enjoyable!
