About Earth Day Resources

On TPT (Teachers Pay Teachers), Earth Day Resources help teachers build lessons around environmental awareness, sustainability, and student action. The collection includes activities that connect easily to classroom conversations about caring for the planet. Many resources also support hands-on learning, which helps students move from discussion to practice. With options for different grade levels, these materials fit both whole-class lessons and smaller learning routines.

Teachers can find lesson plans, reading comprehension passages, task cards, digital activities, and printable worksheets that fit Earth Day themes. Some resources focus on reduce, reuse, recycle, while others introduce natural resources, conservation, or citizen science projects. These formats are helpful because they break big ideas into clear steps students can understand and complete. Many sets also include answer keys, discussion prompts, and recording pages, which makes planning and follow-up easier.

In the classroom, a teacher might use these resources for a morning warm-up, a science center, or a quick Earth Day mini-lesson before recess. A ready-to-print activity can save valuable time when the day is already full, and it gives students a focused way to learn without extra prep. For example, a reading passage paired with a response sheet can be used for independent work while the teacher meets with a small group. That kind of flexibility makes these resources especially practical during busy spring weeks.
