In need of a fun Thanksgiving activity? This activity is great for practicing numbers 1-15! It can be used two ways, as a write the room activity or a center. Right the Room Version: Place the turkeys around the room. Students will go on a hunt for the number turkeys. Once they find a turkey, students will count the feathers. Do your students need a fun way to practice identifying, recognizing, and writing numbers 1-6? This pack includes four different fall Roll and Cover games. Each theme (apples, pumpkins, leaves, and scarecrows) includes color and printer friendly versions of the games. Each theme also includes a spin and color, spin and write, spin and cover, and spin and color with ten frames. These games provide students with a fun, hands on way to practice their numbers 1-6!

In this activity students will practice writing their first name. This could also be used to practice writing their last name. I keep a name tag or sentence strip with their name on it, in front of my students during this activity so they can refer to it as they write! Students will spin a spinner to determine how they will write their name. Use a paper clip and a pencil as the spinner. Then they write their name using a pencil, crayon, or marker! I use this activity at the beginning of the year to help students learn to write their first name. I use this same worksheet later in the year when working on last names!
