I am passionate about sharing this vibrant language, creating an engaging and immersive learning environment that inspires students to excel and develop a lifelong love for French.
Teaching style
I adhere to a proficiency-based curriculum, emphasizing active engagement to facilitate the best learning outcomes. Over the years, I have discovered that students thrive when they are deeply involved with the material. To support this, I design assessments that engage at least four different intelligences, enabling students to effectively grasp and manipulate key concepts.
My own education history
My journey in language learning began as a student in the United States, enriched by unique opportunities to study abroad in France in 2003 and 2006. Additionally, I have studied French Language and Culture in Canada, Sénégal, Mauritania, and Morocco, broadening my global perspective. I hold a degree in Modern Languages and Secondary Education and have earned endorsements for Gifted and Talented students. Furthermore, I am proud to have achieved National Board Certification and hold certifications to teach AP French and International Baccalaureate, ensuring a high standard of education for my students.
