About the store

Teaching style

I truly enjoy developing lessons that are friendly and fun, yet meaningful and purposeful, for both teachers and students, the end result being SUCCESS! When teachers need to prepare for several classes each day, TpT is the perfect space to find inspiration and resources that keep us from re-inventing the wheel, preserving precious time and energy. My products are designed for secondary learners of French in semester- or year-long courses and for classrooms that focus on comprehensible French as the primary content for learners. My lesson passions are inspired by cultural products and practices as well as digital platforms.

My own education history

I taught at the middle and high school levels for 3 years before returning to higher education to complete the doctoral degree in Applied Linguistics and Romance Languages in 2014. I also hold a M.Ed. in foreign-language education and currently focus research efforts on the intersection of technology and language learning. My teaching experience varies from time in higher education teaching French and working with teacher candidates to working with adolescents in both online and traditional school settings. The 2021-22 school year is #15 for me in the classroom.
