Teaching style

I believe education should be an inclusive and empowering experience that builds children's self confidence and encourages their interests and talents to blossom. I am passionate about environmental education. Stories are often a starting point for my resources as there are a wonderful way to engage children and springboard further exploration.

My own education history

I gained my PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) in Bristol, specialising in primary (elementary) teaching. I also studied for my degree in Bristol, in Art and Social Context which followed on from a course in Community Arts in Bath. Both of these allowed me to explore my love of engaging with others through creativity. I did lots of schools workshops and worked as an artist in residence in a school as part of my course.
