Are you looking for activities for teaching a unit on Goldilocks? This unit includes crafts and worksheets for Literacy, Math and Science. The activities included can be completed in center rotations or whole group.
What's included:
Crafts: The following 5 craft templates are included.
-Goldilocks
-Baby Bear
-Mama Bear
-Papa Bear
-Porridge- There are 2 different versions for differentiation. One of the bowls can be used to review the letter p and the other bowl has students practicing the pl blend.
There is also 2 different writing papers included that say, Who is your favorite character? Students can write about which character is his/her favorite.
Printables: There are 16 printables included that practice the following skills:
Literacy:
-Three Brown Bears poem (Students read the poem and search for the sight words: brown, see, the, in, big)
-Sight word sheets: big, can, see, in, to. Students trace, search and color the sight words.
-Syllable Practice
-Baby Bear Beginnings (Students write the missing beginning sound in CVC words)
-Mama's Middles (Students write the missing middle sound in CVC words)
Math:
-Sort by Size- small, medium, large (Students cut and paste chairs, bowls and beds by size)
-Going for a Walk- Students count by 1s and write missing numbers to 20.
-Papa Bear Pairs- Students count by 2s and write missing numbers to 20.
-Going for a Walk- Students count by 5s and write missing numbers to 100
-Shape Sort: Cut and paste shapes in the environment (circles, squares, ovals, triangles)
-Time for Goldilocks- Cut and paste time to the hour
Science:
-Hot and cold cut and paste.
There is also a reader included titled Who Is It? Students practice writing the sight word "it".
