Circus Pronouns:
is a FUN Circus-themed resource that allows your students to practice using pronouns.

In this activity, your students will race to "beat the clock."
What's their task?
To get each child to the Circus Show of his/her choice before your timer runs out.
Instructions:
Set a timer.
Present your student with a picture of the child.
Ask them, what show does THIS child want to go to?
Prompt your student to respond:
He/She/They want(s) to go to the ____ show.
Go through as many cards as possible before time runs out.

When it comes time to "clean up", you can sneak in some past-tense practice and take turns talking about WHO went to WHAT show. Another idea you can incorporate into this activity is to have students share what shows they would enjoy and which shows they wouldn't want to see.

This resource comes with:

1 Circus Sorting Mat
12 Circus Show Cards
84 Pronoun Cards

Each pronoun card has either:
One girl (to target use of the pronoun: SHE)

One boy (to target use of the pronoun: HE)
A mixture of boys and girls (to target use of the pronoun: THEY)

Circus Shows include:
The Lion

The Tiger-tamer

The Strong man

The Seal

The Elephant
The Ring master

The Fire eater

The Snake charmer
The Magician
The Clowns

The Floating Acrobat
