About the store
🦋 Teaching is tough, but learning can still be beautiful. If you’re looking for hands-on, high-interest activities that save time without sacrificing rigor, you’re in the right place. That’s why I created The Butterfly Teacher—to provide hands-on, high-interest resources for 2nd-6th grade classrooms that make rigorous learning easier for both teachers and students. Welcome Teacher Friend! I’m Tanya G. Marshall, a former classroom teacher turned curriculum designer, and I started The Butterfly Teacher from one of the most challenging seasons of my life. Four months after my husband passed away, I stepped into my first 2nd-grade classroom while raising our 5-month-old son. With limited time and resources, I had to create engaging, effective, and rigorous learning materials that truly worked. It was a struggle—but like a butterfly emerging from a chrysalis, the transformation was beautiful. Now, I want to share that same hope of powerful, transformative learning with fellow teachers. Here at The Butterfly Teacher, we believe that learning—like life—is sometimes messy, but with the right tools, it can still be meaningful and beautiful. Our store is dedicated to helping 2nd-6th grade teachers by providing high-quality, affordable, and engaging resources that save time while ensuring students master essential skills. From hands-on literacy activities to culturally responsive lessons, every resource is designed to make learning interactive, rigorous, and effective. If you’re looking for practical, teacher-tested materials to bring new energy to your classroom, you’re in the right place! Follow this store and turn on email notifications so you never miss new resources designed to support you and your students. Let’s make learning beautiful—together! 📌 Explore more resources and ideas at www.thebutterflyteacher.com/shop 📧 Contact me here: tanya@thebutterflyteacher.com
